Not that great

These screw jacks are heavy compared to Simplex brand screw jacks. If you are working in a crawl space a few pounds can mean a lot. The jacks were made in China. I found a set of 12 ton screw jacks made by Simplex which were lighter, easier to use and US made. The price was comparable if not cheaper. At the time, the Simplex jacks were not sold by Amazon.com. If you need screw jacks and can’t find used ones then I would perform an internet search and find the Simplex jacks.

BEWARE WHEN ORDERING!!

JET SJ-20-Ton Screw Jack: I admit I have not used the two I just bought, But – it says below the ad “Customers who bought this – also bought the 3/4″ Turning Bar.”
This bar IS needed to use the jack. These Jacks do NOT come with this bar.
Amazon should update this listing to show it is both needed AND NOT included.
Also – order together (if buying direct from Amazon) to save on shipping.
And shipping can be a big cost when ‘Weighing’ the Total cost of purchase.
