Does the Job and One Man Setup!

I purchased this scaffold from Lowe’s for $219 the the price on Amazon has them beat, but I needed it right away and couldn’t wait for it to be delivered. I use this quite often so have given it a work out both inside and outside. And have some good things and bad things about it.
Interior use: It is great for almost any use from hanging drywall to working on ceilings. And since you can set the legs at different heights it works well in the wider stairways. It also rolls very smoothly on level surfaces. Overall it is great – BUT if you have two big guys on the scaffolding and lean over to get a sheet of drywall, it can tip at the worst time. So for handing drywall, I would recommend that you also purchase the outriggers (note: can’t be purchased at Lowe’s).
Exterior use: On level ground like a sidewalk, patio or driveway, this is useful. But on uneven ground it can be dangerous with the use of the Model #I-CIS04 Outriggers that are sold on Amazon for $89.99.
This unit can be set up by one man and is reasonbly easy to transport and move.

decent cheap baker. needs better wheels

good for a cheap baker/scaffold. I install acoustical ceilings and I use this baker frequently on my side work. For the price it is decent but the bearings in the wheels wear out relatively quick compared to better quality Gentex or Perry bakers. Once the bearings wear out it makes it difficult to turn wheels side to side while changing directions when you are on the baker. For occasional use or if you are planning on using this baker in a stationary position it is fine. If you are intending to use this on a daily basis and want to be able to move easily while on top of the scaffold then i would spend the extra money and purchase a Gentex or Perry.
